CHRISTMAS FAIR
The Christmas Fair will be taking place on Saturday 29th November from 11.00am – 1.00pm.
We are looking for donations of Bottles, Gifts, Fancy Goods, Chocolate and Tombola Goods. Wrapped and Unwrapped items for the £1.00 parcels, children, ladies and gents.
Also, Raffle Prizes for the ‘Big Raffle’ and ‘Pre loved teddies and soft toys.’
CAKES NEEDED FOR THE CHRISTMAS FAIR
We are kindly asking for donations of freshly baked cakes for our Christmas Fair. If you are able to bake, your support would be greatly appreciated. Cakes can be brought to the Church on the morning of the Fair. Thank you for helping make our Christmas Fair a great success!
CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE
Following the enormous success of the Christmas Giving Tree over the last couple of years and your amazing generosity as a parish, we would like to repeat the event again this year. The Giving Tree will be available in Church between the 8th November and the 14th December. Please could I ask that any donations be brought in after the Christmas Fair. The donations will be made into hampers for those members of our Parish Community most in need. Your generosity will be gratefully received. A list of recommended donations can be found on the noticeboard in the Atrium.
CHRISTMAS OFFERING ENVELOPES
Christmas Offering Envelopes will be available from the First to the Fourth Sunday of Advent. Please take one and return it with your offering to one of the Christmas Masses. Thank you.

CHRISTMAS SOIREE
Thursday 11th December at 7pm in the Atrium. Join us for a festive evening of warmth and community, with mince pies and mulled wine. A lovely chance to gather, chat and enjoy the spirit of the season together. Wear your Christmas attire! All are very welcome. Sign up on the list in the Atrium.
200 CLUB
The 8th draw for £20 will take place this Sunday after the 10.30am Mass. The Big Draw will take place on 7th December. There is a folder in the Atrium with all names, numbers and winners.
UCM DAY OUT TO THE CHRISTMAS MARKET IN KNARESBOROUGH SATURDAY 6TH DECEMBER
The UCM are having a coach trip to the Christmas Market in Knaresborough on Saturday 6th December. The coach is now full and will leave St. Mary’s Church at 10am and return for 5pm.
YOUNG CHRISTIAN WORKERS CHRISTMAS DINNER
Wednesday 24th December-Christmas meal delivery service only. Thursday 25th December-Delivery service or Take-away/sit-down meal from 1.00pm-3.00pm at Bury Parish Church Hall, The Rock. If you or someone you know would like to order a meal, please contact 07855 306074. Last order date for meal deliveries is 19th December. (THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THIS MEAL).
FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
Our diocesan Lourdes pilgrimage group invites you to a special Mass in preparation for the feast of the Immaculate conception. The Mass, celebrated by Bishop John, will take place at 3pm on Sunday 7th December at St. Patrick’s, Collyhurst, M4 5HF. Following Mass, information will be shared by the Salford Lourdes Pilgrimage group on plans for the 2026 pilgrimage.
